One of the main outcomes of this wānanga is that we hope it will re-ignite a spark, or energy to take back to all our marae, getting people to understand the importance of mauri & to understand the greatness that is within them.
To acknowledge mauri as a practical way to help restore wellbeing in whanau, hapu, iwi utilizing mauri paradigm to empower innovative Maori solutions. To share our history, our stories to help re-connect & repatriate ourselves back to our turangawaewae, our ancestral tribal lands.
“E kore au e ngaro, he kākano i ruia mai i Rangiatea’ (I will never be lost, for I am a seed scattered from the heavens of Rangiatea – born of greatness)
